When anger and revenge meet her dark past, one woman becomes
the right vessel for evil.
Now, she must find her way to freedom or else, be in the hands of lurking darkness.
A victim of rape by her brothers, Criselle (Melissa Ricks) had not known joy in her life.
Her so-called mother abused her and made her work to the bones. Her supposedly loving father failed to defend her.
The plot thickens as she discovers the true identity of her mother and the twisted fate she had received.
Drowning with revenge, Criselle gives her soul to the devil and instantly becomes possessed by it. She plots to kill her entire family and end the torment that had beset her. In a surprising twist, the demon betrays Criselle and rewires death towards her.
Criselle, gone astray and nowhere to turn to, encounters a redeeming light.
Will she surrender to this redemption? Or forever succumb to a lust for revenge and be forever lost?
"LIGAW 's riveting story of a woman's irreparable life unfolds with powerful and convincing performances by the cast throughout heartstopping and heart-rendering scenes. Gripping, provocative, impressive ... Kudos to Director Paolo Tesico!"

"LIGAW has been a long-in-development project but the wait is certainly worth it. The material has evolved into a compelling piece of work whether you are religious or not and showcases outstanding performances from its support and most especially its lead actress, Melissa Ricks. The film stays with you and is rife for discussion long-after its 2-hour plus running time. An admirable effort from all involved."
"Intense, heartstopping, compelling. Ligaw is the story of a lostgirl, but the movie's message goes straight through."

"Melissa Ricks acting prowess shines through in this film intensely depicting a distressed and vengeful character; yet the audience can’t help but be sympathetic towards her and hope for an immediate rescue of her soul. Eva Darren, Crispin Pineda and the rest of the ensemble is a powerhouse, and they will take you to a thrilling, roller coaster ride of emotions."
"Ligaw is just as harrowing as it is thought-provoking, with its narrative layers well-knit and explored altogether to form a picture that makes you nibble at the edge of strong emotions. Criselle's story is so acute it gnaws at the flesh like a rabid animal, inflicting a great deal of agony that will take days to wear off."
"LIGAW is the most powerful and gripping Christian thriller I have ever seen. Best of all it is based on a true story that follows a young girl's journey through deepest darkness, and her breakthrough into an explosion of light and freedom when she discovers the power of Christ's redeeming love."
Writer and Book Author
“Director/Writer Paolo Endrinal Tesico has obviously put a lot of effort into making “Ligaw”.
I look forward to his next projects. The role of Criselle is exhausting, both emotionally and physically, for actress Melissa Ricks, but she is able to pull it off.
Good job to both Tesico and Ricks!”
